Sadly Blood On The Wall has had to cancel the remaining dates of their tour. This will include the dates they were supposed to do with War On Drugs on May 21st at The Grog Shop, May 22nd at The Magic Stick and May 23rd at The Empty Bottle.
Apologies to everyone. We believe War On Drugs is going to do those dates regardless and we urge people to check them out.
In other news the Blood On The Wall Jaun's Basement session is up at pitchfork.tv at the moment.

Due to forces beyond anyone's control, Blood On The Wall has to cancel their canadian dates and therefore will not be playing Zoobizarre in Montreal on the 19th or Sneaky Petes in Toronto on the 20th.
The tour will pick up where it is supposed to be on the 21st with War On Drugs in tow.
Apologies to our friendly neighbors to the north.

We miss Blood On the Wall since they all moved from NYC but thankfully they are back again this weekend for a show at Mercury Lounge on the Lower East Side. They are currently on their second US tour in support of recent album Liferz and sounding blistering as ever live. Here's what Village Voice recently had to say about them: "Blood On The Wall get points for acknowledging a bunch of good ideas that other people had first: layered, gauzy, shimmering production; jokes about drugs; and mewling male/female vocals. Their Liferz is one of the year's most sublime, equal parts cascading melodies, nausea and romance...music about loving music, from a band thats atypically easy to like." We can't imagine a band that puts on a more invigorating live show...unmissable.
Date: Saturday May 17th
Venue: Mercury Lounge
Address: 217 East Houston Street (corner Avenue A and Houston)
Other Acts: Cause Co-Motion, Lights, Abigail Warchild
Showtime: 11.30pm
Price: $10 advance / $12 doors
Advance Tickets: www.ticketmaster.com
Here's an added bonus.....when BOTW were at SXSW this year Last FM shot a video interview featuring live footage. You can see it here

We would be remiss were we not to mention that Mike Bones will be playing a show at The Social in London on May 27th. As was the case with his recent US dates members of Sian Alice Group will be backing him up.
